Ukrainian autonomous agricultural technology

Autopilot for machinery that brings land back to work.

AGAT is a Ukrainian engineering technology for autopilot and remote control of agricultural machinery. It upgrades existing machines and reduces the need for people to remain directly in hazardous work zones.

Built in Ukraine

An engineering project shaped by unmanned-systems experience and real agricultural needs.

02

Existing machinery

A modular upgrade path rather than a mandatory replacement of the entire fleet.

03

People away from risk

Remote control and autonomous functions reduce the need for an operator to be physically present in a hazardous work zone.

One control loop

Machine, navigation and operator work as one system.

AGAT’s public architecture combines precision navigation, remote control, work-area visibility and autonomous functions. The actual configuration is defined after an audit of the machine and operation.

AGAT / PURPOSE

Keep people where decisions belong — not where exposure is unnecessary.

AGAT is developing technology intended to reduce operator presence in hazardous conditions, return existing machinery to productive use and open more accessible operating scenarios.

01

Less direct exposure

The operator supervises an agreed scenario from outside the cab instead of remaining physically beside the machine throughout the operation.

02

Existing fleets at work

An upgrade begins with the machinery already available, its controls, transmission and the actual operating task.

03

More accessible roles

Remote operation can create new work scenarios for veterans, people with disabilities and experienced older specialists.

A machinery-control system is not a demining system and does not guarantee that an area is safe.

A documented trajectory

From an engineering idea to a public presentation.

In 2025, AGAT reached the top five at the Traiektoriia 2 Grand Pitch Day and received UAH 200,000 in grant support. The system was subsequently covered by specialist media and Radio Nakypilo.

AGAT / PUBLIC RECORD

The project can be followed through primary sources.

From a public presentation to long-form conversations about the system’s origins, architecture and social purpose.
